SusyArbusy
Hi :) For my IA Im investigating the effect of temperature on mitotic index in onion samples. My teacher told me to count the number of cells (total & in mitosis) in the whole specimen put under the microscope. However, these is an enormous number of cells to count (400-500 cells) and so: 1) counting the cells for 1 sample takes me about 30 minutes, which is exhausting, 2) I need to count the cells in lower magnification, which may make the results inaccurate Don't you think it would be better to calculate the mitotic index for just a single field of view in the microscope?
