Williz Report post Posted July 11, 2018 I basically want to know if it is okay to research body temperature as the measuring includes putting the thermometer inside of one's ear. I looked at the EE guide for biology, but all I could manage to find was "inflict pain on, or cause unnecessary stress to, living organisms are not appropriate for submission. Investigations that are likely to have a harmful effect on health" My personal thought is that it must be okay as there is a guy in my class measuring vital capacity, which also touches a body entry, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm not sure about the research question yet, although im thinking something in the line of " does eating a proportional amount of calories have a different effect on body temperature in males and females aged 18+- 1 year?" Any help or thoughts are welcome! Reply
