neil072
Right now, our IB school is quite new. With that being said, we barely have any courses to choose from. We don't have math HL, physics HL, (two subjects I really want to take), further mathematics (which I doubt will be added anyways), economics SL or HL and there may be more which I can't recall at the moment. My question is, how can I convince the school to add some of these courses? Thanks in advance. Reply
kw0573
Since you are in grade 10, Math HL and Further Math HL will be replaced by the new math courses when you enter DP in fall 2019. Analysis and Approach is said to be equivalent to current SL/HL; Applications and Interpretations is more Studies and modelling. I do not know how course offerings get approved. I suppose you can get others in your year to pledge/sign that they will take physics HL, or analysis/approach HL, if offered. Reply

AndresLopez
If you can't amount sufficient interest in some subjects, you can try to get your school to take self-taught subjects. There aren't many, but from what I know Further Maths can be taken as a self-taught subject, so you could also look into that if you'd like.
