URGENT (English EE): To get an A, are secondary sources needed?

I have good arguments but because my novel is very obscure, I have virtually no secondary sources. I have tried incorporating historians' views regarding aspects of the society but is this enough to earn an A?

I really need an A.

Also, how do you write a good, analytical conclusion?

Does anybody have good A grade English EEs they are willing to share?

Any other tips on earning an A?

Thanks.

I would advise using secondary sources in your essay, but as long as they are relevant. If your secondary sources don't add to your essay, it will look as poor evidence/research, which can decrease the quality of your essay.

I didn't do an English EE, so I can't help you out as for tips. However, here's a website with some exemplar EEs: https://www.easthartford.org/page.cfm?p=10855

Have a look at the English EEs, hopefully they'll help you.

Hope this helps!
