Noah000
What I've got so far is roughly: 'Was the fall of the Carolingian Empire and the establishment of its three successor kingdoms the greatest cause of Franco-German enmity throughout European history?' This is, as you can see, hopelessly broad. I've got research done concerning The Empire and its fall, and the history of ethnic tension in what was at the time Middle Francia, and on early feeling of nationalism in France and Germany. Any help narrowing this question would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Reply
