el-melloi
Hello everyone, I'm an IB senior, male, 17 years old. I would like to hear the perspectives of other IB students on this topic. I'm pondering on the subject of "blending in or being yourself", of which I asked classmates as well as my TOK teacher. My TOK teacher and other classmates said to just be yourself, while other students, typically the more popular IB students, said "fake it until you make it". I don't want to feel alone anymore, but I also fear that people won't accept me for who I am, but I also think that being yourself is the better option in the long run, I'm just hella scared. Please respond if you are able, any response is appreciated. -El-Melloi Reply

IBZOMBIE9840
Being yourself but in some times faking it out. That's how you make it through IB. Just be yourself but sometimes fake it. Reply
MichaelSawcz
Seems like it highly depends on who you are as a person. All the IB students go through the same and you'll always find someone to be with Reply
