harjaap
I was just wondering... if I have a level 3 predicted grade for French B SL, and I write the exam next May, is it even possible for me to get a level 5 final and what grade would I need on that exam to obtain a final level 5? kw0573
Your predicted grade does not impact your final grade. In almost all subjects, the final papers account for 50-80% of the course grade. A rough estimate is that if you score 80%+ in Language B on the finals you should be close to 5+, provided that you don't get grades like 20% on other IB assignments. If you score 100% on the finals then basically only way to get lower than 5 is if you try to fail. Unless your school have already graded the actual orals AND written task, a grade around 60-70% in those will significantly improve your chances to score 5+.
