Collegewifi Posted December 5, 2018 Report Share Posted December 5, 2018 Hey, I'm currently writing my EE and am stuck on the approach to fitting my Extended essay in the correct criteria. I am a music producer and have worked with synthesizers for years and thought it would be fitting to do my EE covering synthesizers. My title is "How does Compositional Techniques used in music technology in the mid-20th century compare to those in the last 20 years?" and I discuss the rise of modular synthesizers, Analogue synthesizers, aswell as the use of computer technology in the process of making music. Attached is a draft of what I have so far. My question is: is my approach and what I am doing so far acceptable to continue as other IB Music EEs I've seen, pertain to an artist(s) and comparisons to other artists of different styles and time.
