eaandei
I've seen people talking about their predicted scores, mostly in relation to applying to universities. Upon asking my SL Math and HL Chem teachers on separate occasions, they said that teachers aren't allowed to tell students their predicted scores. And after talking to IB seniors at my school, they said that you apparently never get your predicted scores. Is there an actual answer to this question? If so, how would I get my predicted scores? And on another note, I'll be applying in the summer to college and have heard that predicted scores are what are considered by high ranking universities when deciding on your acceptance. Is this true? And do the scores automatically show up on your transcript or do you have to request IB info through the organization. (Like sending SAT/ACT scores?) Thanks! kw0573
You should tell your school IB coordinator and adviser (if any) about the schools you will be applying to, and the deadlines of submitting supporting materials. Your school will care of the predicted grades and submit them to the universities. 1 Reply
