ChristinaD20038
HELP! I am doing my extended essay in physics and I am worried because I just got to know that I need two independent variables for my extended essay. Is that right? Or am I fine with only one independent variable? HELP PLEASE ASAP! Reply
ImFine
Hey there! I think you should ask your supervisor about this or the subject teacher but I think it is good to know that there are 5 types of physics extended essays. Experimental: design and implementation of an experiment, then personal collection and analysis of the data Data-based: location and extraction of raw or processed data, not collected directly by the student, which is then further refined and analyzed. Theoretical: development of a quantitative or semi-quantitative description of some physical phenomenon, the exercise of the model, predictions about its behavior and limitations. Survey: formulation of a cohesive, ordered, analytical and supported (qualitative and quantitative) discussion of the topic. Combination: some combination of the approaches listed above So it is a lot more flexible that it may seem. I think you could really tailor it to what you would want to write about. Hope this helped and good luck 1 Reply
