macbakeib88
My exams are in around 2 months time, and I have done minimal - some revision but I am aiming for 38-40 points hopefully (I am struggling a lot with maths SL revision particularly, and constantly get below 50% on past papers) Is it possible to cram all my revision in less than 2 months? Any tips and tricks as well? Thanks Reply
ImFine
Hey! Two months is doable but you need DISCIPLINE. If you are still very unsure about a lot of things you can not afford to procrastinate at this point... Here are some little tips: 1. Go to bed at 9 pm at the latest et up early in the mornings (at like 5:30) and do some revision. You are able to study and receive material better in the mornings 2. Delete social media apps (or at least turn off notifications) you will gain a lot of time by just not checking your phone 3. Stop finding excuses for not doing what you're supposed to (it is a lot easier but means that you're NOT productive) 4. Make a revision time table organized by subject on what you are the most unsure about; PRIORITIZE 5. Establish an effective note-taking system but DONT take loads of notes, its a waste of time and you won't memorize it, instead read slowly and focused and then take down a summary 6. If you're struggling with math, watch screen recording and use https://www.khanacademy.org/. Learn the theory well before you apply the knowledge! 7. Stay organized, keep all your revision for each subject separate and systematic. 8. Don't overwork yourself. You do this by not sleeping, not taking breaks and neglecting eating clean, exercise and staying hydrated. You do not want to have a BURNOUT right at your exams Hope this helped a little bit Good luck 1 Reply

AndresLopez
Hey The tips already given are definitely helpful! Revising in 2 months is for sure doable! If you stay focused and maybe create a study plan. (And add some extra hours because you will most likely procrastinate some of the time). Other than revising everything on your own you could as well do a revision course over several days, where you get some help in specific subjects. You should easily find one if you just search for "IB revision course" or something like that. These courses are helpful because they know what will be useful for you to revise so you don't get lost in all the topics and have some sort structure. Hope this helps as well! good luck!
