I wanted to do something in regards to the cherokee nation because my great grandmother was a cherokee indian. I came up with the question: "To what extent did the trail of tears affect the women of the cherokee indians" but my teacher told me it was too broad and to focus in on one of the tribes instead. so I came up with the question: "To what extent did the Trail of Tears affect the passing down of traditions in the wolf clan of the cherokee indians?" She said it was alright, but I'm struggling to find information on it and I really don't know what to do. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice that they could give me?
