Paigex21
I'm thinking of doing a World Studies EE, and I am aware that one of the criteria is for the topic to be contemporary, meaning it has to be a global issue within my lifetime. One (out of the two) subject lenses that I will be using is history, but I'm not sure how I can investigate an issue that is contemporary in this case. Hi, Perhaps engage in the topic from a different perspective: how will the issue you are looking into be written about, years from now? How will it be categorized, historically? How might it be compared to another event from a different era? Also, be aware how 'contemporary' is defined. Reach out if I can be of any help!
