Faisal3399
Hello there, I have two questions one is that how much do IB expect from us to write in EE math, since it is really difficult to write up to 3500. second one is that how do plagiarism really works. In math we cannot really change a proof of a theory, so if I took it from a source does it really counts as plagiarism or rephrasing it and citing it counts. Naama
I don't know exactly how many words they expect you to write, but my supervisor told me that maths EEs are often shorter than for other subjects. For your second point, I think that you can use a proof as long as you cite it properly and ensure that you don't present it in a way that makes it look like it's your original work. kw0573
EE in Math should aim for at least 10 pages. A very concise EE should have at least 2000 words. If you are being wordy then at least 2500 - 3000 words. As long as it's clear what your thoughts are and what you cited then it's fine. Reply
