HenryFrank Posted February 26, 2020 Report Share Posted February 26, 2020 Hi everyone, I just picked my Chemistry IA topic which is the effect of pH on water absorbing properties of hydrogel. Can someone give me suggestions on how to design the experiment? Ideas on how to measure the swelling rate or how to control the pH? My main problem is not knowing how to control the pH since I do not think I can soak hydrogel in solutions of different pH as they would soak up the water in solution too. Lastly, does anyone know where to buy commercial hydrogel as I can't seem to find any online? Or should I just settle for any hydrogel I can get my hands on? Thanks!
