My ee has plenty of sequences of numbers, mostly in the form of triplets, as well as numerical and algebraic expressions. Do numerical expressions count as words? When listing the word count, should I clarify that the word count refers only to the actual English words and not mathematical symbols? If someone could exhaustively list to me what mathematical notation counts and doesn't count into the word count., I'd appreciate it.
