I realized while doing my math homework and plotting points, that I have no idea how to do a curve of best fit. The way it's looking, I suppose a sinusoidal function or a polynomial function will fit best. I have no idea how to achieve either of these though. Guidance, please?

I have found TI-83 for Dummies to be quite a good reference over the big thick thing that TI gives you. You can download it for free here.

If you are trying to find a regression:

Step 1: input all of your values into the STAT list. This is done by:
STAT
1:Edit.

Step 2: Determine what type of regression would work. If you are not sure, experiment with a few of them, and see which one models the points best.

Step 3: calculate the regression. STAT>CALC> and select your option from either 4,5,6,7,8,9,0, A, B or C.
