I have a couple of questions to ask, and first one is regarding my research question,

which is "Is adaptable user interface a better alternative to managing the interface complexity than adaptive user interface?"

Should I talk about adaptIVE user interface at all?

Is the adaptable user interface a broad enough topic? (I'm quite lost as to how broad of a topic this is..)

I just thought that it might be easier to draw conclusions if I compare the two.

If so, in what aspects can I compare those two in?

And if not, should I go more into the human-computer interaction rather than discussing the user interfaces themselves?

Another question is about others' research papers that I've been reading,

and often times in the paper they create their own programs to demonstrate their points and whatnot.

Is it okay to refer to those programs in my essay?

Personally, I think that it will be hard to talk about user interface without having a real example; otherwise,

it'll only be general discussion.

But on the other hand, I'm worried that I will only be stating the facts drawn from their examples/programs,

and not "analyzing" like I'm supposed to.

Please, any help is appreciated!

Thank you in advance.
