Ode to a Sandwich

Your fluffy bread, some white some brown,

Your dark crust such a joy to chew,

Cold butter like a golden crown,

Oh Sandwich I'm in love with you.

The texture of your fine inside,

The fish or meat between the two

Slices that you try to hide,

Oh Sandwich I'm in love with you.

Cool tomato oozing out

Your pips and juice and flavoured goo

Until I confess else but nowt:

Oh Sandwich I'm in love with you.

When at last your taste is done,

I'm at a loss what I should do,

Except for make another one!

Oh Sandwich I'm in love with you.

;)

Fruit salad :P

The peach (Prunus persica) is known as a species of Prunus native to China that bears an edible juicy fruit also called a peach. It is a deciduous tree growing to 5–10 m tall, belonging to the subfamily Prunoideae of the family Rosaceae. It is classified with the almond in the subgenus Amygdalus within the genus Prunus, distinguished from the other subgenera by the corrugated seed shell.

Well, I also went to various websites.. and I do not recommend you guys to do that... seriously though (because I do not mean it like that).

Idea stolen from Sandwich :P

Ode to Peaches:

From blossoms comes

this brown paper bag of peaches

we bought from the boy

at the bend in the road where we turned toward

signs painted Peaches.

From laden boughs, from hands,

from sweet fellowship in the bins,

comes nectar at the roadside, succulent

peaches we devour, dusty skin and all,

comes the familiar dust of summer, dust we eat.

O, to take what we love inside,

to carry within us an orchard, to eat

not only the skin, but the shade,

not only the sugar, but the days, to hold

the fruit in our hands, adore it, then bite into

the round jubilance of peach.

There are days we live

as if death were nowhere

in the background; from joy

to joy to joy, from wing to wing,

from blossom to blossom to

impossible blossom, to sweet impossible blossom.

Haiku about miso soup

while i don't know you
i always dreamed about you
yes, one day for sure.

it's basically about my lack of knowledge(taste, texture, ect) about the soup but one day. one day. whether it's correct or not, I'm an artist, not a writer.

as for your question, because food is amazing.
