What time do you go to bed on average day?

I'm 17 and got to sleep between 11:30 and 12:00.

My schedule looks like this:

7:15 Get up, do all the morning stuff.

7:45 Finish Breakfast and sometimes study (for Spanish or something like that, the memorizing subjects).

7:55 Take the bus and leave for school. Carry on studying.

8:10 Arrive at school, go to my first class and study until class begins.

8:30-3:30 Classes.

3:45 Arrive home, watch Tv and eat.

4:05 Start working. Take breaks every 45 min-hour

9:00 All work stops. Whatever's not done can wait until tmrw morning, or be done in class.

9:00-11:30 whatever you want. Normally chatting, maybe some revision and TV.

Notice I sleep for 6.75-7.25 hours (includes 15 min time to fall asleep), I find this comfortable and sustainable. My chinese friend o the other hand has been pulling off 5 hour nights for the last 2 years, and he's been fine (a real insomniac). Find what is sustainable for you, and remember that you can't do a whole lot when you're tired.

i'm kindof a procrastinator... so

school ends at three

but then there's always some sort of club or meeting i have to go to

so i get home at around 5:00.

i eat. i play on the computer.

i watch tv.

its 7 or even 8 before i get around doing hw!!!

then.. depending on how many "breaks" i take... i sleep early or not.

very unwise lifestyle yes i know.

so i sleep around 1 or 2, typically.

generally, i go to sleep around 2:00-2:30am.

i'll tell you my schedule though since everyone else did. :(

Adays- get out of school at 3:30 & get home at 4:30

Bdays- get out of school at 1:50 & get home at 2:00

--on Bdays i use my extra time to just have some alone time and sometimes i do a little studying.

4:30-5:00- dinner.

5:00-10:30/11:00-i'm usually out with my boyfriend.

10:45/11:15-12:00- homework time (later if i need it)

12:00-1:15/2:15- this is when i read the millions of books we have to read for english.

1:15-1:45- get ready for bed

2:00-2:30- depending on how tired i am, i get online or just go to sleep.

I wake up at 5:30 each morning to catch the bus at 6:30.

I usually try to aim to go to bed at 10pm but it doesn't work out like that most of the time. Usually it's around 11pm-1am.

On the weekends, I usually don't go to bed till 1am and I don't wake up till noon so it kinda messes up my sleep schedule.

I'm graduating in 2010 also!!

I try to go to bed as soon as possible, but I usually don't start on homework and assignments and stuff until 8 or 9 pm, so usually I go to bed around 10:30 to 11.

WOW, you people are so smart/efficient/excellent time managers.

We do our exams in November so I've just finished my IB1 SL Maths. I am officially starting IB next year.. and seriously I have never slept before 11:00pm this year.

Maybe i just worry too much about eveything.

oh well

it's the holidays:) so theoritically i should be enjoying the sun. (it's summer here)

but oh no, i still have the SATs to worry about ha ha ha.

HAHA You guys are all a bunch of Cinderellas! there hasn't been a day since the past 2 years that i have slept before 12 on a school day! Right now in 12th grade its usually around 12:30 -1:30 but during exams I remember not sleeping at all for 2 and a half days straight. Thats wen i started to feel that sleeping was a waste of time, it was like a really long adrenaline rush or something. Fun Fun

My Day:

6:00 - Wake Up

3:00 - School Ends

4:30 - Get Home

4:30 to 6:00 - Laze Around, Indulge in Slackerdom, Procrastinate

6:00 to 9:00 - Try to work but get distracted by Facebook, youtube, msn, music and other stuff..

10:00 to 12:00 - HW

12:00 to 1:00 - Read

1:00 - Sleep

And this is when I don't have much hw and any other activities otherwise its much more messed up and i don't end up sleeping till 2 or 3.

Meh International Bullcrap!

I need sleep!

You learn to sleep less. :) 4am isn't THAT late unless you're waking up at 6:00.

... yeah it is. :S

I zone out so much during the day if I even get less than 6 hours of sleep.

6 am - wake up, study/finish homework, morning routine

8 am - 2:30 pm - school

2:30 - 3:30/4 pm - tutoring/clubs/teams/band practise

5 pm - homework find ways to procrastinate ... lol who are we kidding now?

7 pm - homework!

10:30ish pm - SLEEP! :S the most important part of my schedule~

I guess I'll join:

5:45 - wakeup, get ready, breakfast, finish homework

6:45 - leave for school

7:15-2:05 - school

2:10-4:30 - afterschool...NHS, drama, music, etc.

5:00-7:00 - homework, dinner, study, etc. Sometimes, I have rehearsals and practices I need to go to so my shcedule changes from day to day.

7:00-10:00 - tv, relax

10:00 - 11:00 - study, read

11:00 - bedtime :S

  • 4 weeks later...

hmm...i guess im almost the same. Only that, chatting on msn takes alot of my time. Doesnt mean i dont study..lol, i actually do.

Nowadays, if i sleep at 12:00 its actually quite early, im finishing IB this year.

To be honest with you guys, im telling you from now, for those of you who are still in IB 1:

Sleep as much as you can this year, because trust me, you wont be able to sleep this much next year.

This was told to us last year, and we LAUGHED, but it turned out to be 100% true <3.

I only sleep like 5 hours a day This is, if i dont have serious work to do like an essay.or hard exams/quizzes.

In addition tp the fact that i normally get home at 4 pm, and i dont really watch tv unless theres something serious going on.

EDIT: editted alot of the formatting. :)
