i think that i want to do something along the lines of faulty memory and "how do we know that memory is reliable?". im not really sure where to start, and i also am having some trouble finding a real life situation. i know i definitely want to use the Eyewitness testimony psych experiment but my tok teacher (who is an *******) said i need a real situation. any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I actually remember someone in my TOK class doing something along these lines. They had us watch a video (from a traffic camera) of a car crash, then waited two minutes. Then they asked us all these questions like "What color was the truck?", and "Which light was green?" Scary thing is, only a few people could remember. So I'm sure if you Google some cases like that you could find something.
