How many IB students do you have in your school?

We had about 150 IB students about 75 students per grade.

Heya! My school has about 800+ students? o_O Granted, it's the only national school offering it, and I'm in the 5th batch of students...

My school has about 40% who take at least 1 IB class. For Diploma Candidates, there are really not that many in the class of 2010. (Maybe like 20-sih? o_O) But my class, Class of 2011, has at least almost 30-40.

We've got 25 in IB I and about 30 in IB II out of approx 120 per year group..

My school is the only IB school in a large population so they are very selective, but have room for 90 kids a year.

My school is in Canada, and there are currently 100 ish pre-IB students. Of course, our nasty IB coordinator doesn't allow dropping of courses without a medical certificate. So nobody gets out of IB. But the large majority of students are certificate IB anyhow.

Class of 2009 - 0 IB Students out of 10 students

Class of 2010 - 6 IB Students (1 Male, 5 Females) out of 22 students - (my class)

Class of 2011 - 15-20 IB Students out of 40+

The full IB diploma in our school started with 40 students, mostly they dropped=>! Now were 13 full IB diploma, and there are 45 people taking the certificate

Wow o.o We have 8 people in IB2 and I'm not sure about IB1 I think it's 13 or 12. But wow, many of you guys have over a hundred students in IB. My school is so tiny.

In my school, in year 12, we have 10 students. (all girls)

Everyone makes it look as though IB students are super impressive smart kids, but to be honest, in my school we dont have any geniuses, just hard workers. And we all pretty much get goodish grades.

So yeah i was just wondering... how many students in your school are doing IB? and are you guys out there particularly smart?

It's the same thing at my school!

People look at us funny and say they feel intimidated when they

walk past us or talk to us. I really don't understand!

In my school in Ankara Turkey, the ones that are going to take IB exams in May 2011, we are 105-110 people. Generally, the class of 2011 with ib and non-ib students its approx. 550.

we're an all-girls school, and we have about 40 doing IB from 200. Theres a fair bit of conflict between the groups, because we're seen as smarter, and a hell of a lot more stressed (therefore we must be worried about doing well) this is the biggest group to ever come through, mostly theres about 15-20

As of right now there is about 65 IB students in the diploma program, meaning 65 students in both grade 11 and 12, theres not a lot of us because we are mixed in a school with regular students and our city is not really into as the program is new.

in my year 11 grade we have 8 people.

so in the whole two grades of about 200 kids there are 13 IB kids.
