hey guys!

My research question is: "How the phenomenon of place attachment influence the consumer-behaviour in the tourism industry?"

I want to know if this is specific or not...or to wide or whatever!! I feel like it`s a bit too general . The essay is more about what makes people come twice in the same location for holidays or whatever..

I just feel like the wording might be a little awkward? So maybe:

In the tourism industry, how does the place attachment phenomenon influence consumer behaviour?

but that's just a stylistic thing x) overall, I think it's specific enough.

One way to decide whether the topic is too broad or no is writing down all the sections you need to include in order to write about the topic, from that you should have an approximate idea as to how long your essay is going to be. If you were able to talk about all the aspects you need to in about 4000 words, then I think it would be ok. On the other hand, if you feel 4000 words are only enough to talk vaguely about the topic, then you need to narrow it down.

Make sure you talk to your supervisor.
