deissi
From paper 1 I got 38/40 points and from paper 2 26/30. Both were graded on the IB criteria. Now to me that seems to be a rather obvious 7, but no I get a 5 to my report card. Actually, 26/30 is a high 6 in Paper 2, you need 27 for a low 7. However, combined with your Paper 1 score it should be a 7. But it doesn't really matter since you'll get that 7 in IB Finals where your teacher can't affect it Reply
chileanbob
Again, I ask if any one knows the bands for determining a 1 - 7 on the papers 1, 2, and/or 3? I wanna know approximately how many not to get wrong and things like that... Reply

Or is this really IBO marking methods? =\ No, dividing 100 into 7 doesn't give that See, remember the weights of the papers and IA (oral): 40% Paper 1 = 40 marks 30% Paper 2 = 30 marks 30% Oral - - = 30 marks ______________________ 100% = 100 marks Reply

__inthemaking
I did okay on it, I ended up with a 6 in French B. I found the writing part really easy (as in, I was consistently getting 30/30 on my compositions) but my listening skills brought me down (couldn't understand the mumbling on the tape). 1 Reply
