SushiMonstar
You could also relate:- Who gives Person A the right to decide upon whether Person B lives or dies? Is this ethically or morally correct?- A person you love VS. 5 kids = who would you save? What role does emotion play in this situation?- You could also bring up the "Kill one, save many" mentality.Hope this helps. Reply
ameatypie
Euthanasia is something that i imagine causes great emotional pain to to the people who remain alive in this situation, but never the less is something that i think must be done. If it comes to a choice between life in constant unbearable pain and death, sometimes a paineless death is the best way to go. Interestingly enough, filling a room with pure nitrogen is the best way to kill someone painlessly - a colourless, odourless gas that will knock you out after about 15 seconds, and kill you after not many more. Ruan Chun Xian
Honestly? It's a bit of a boring topic. It's very cliched and done to death. But then again TOK presentation is internally assessed and not sent for moderation, so it doesn't really matter that much, unless your teacher knows it's a cliched topic and marks you down for it. Still, take a look at this, starting from Page 13.DebatePolicySep08.pdf Reply

What are your own views on Euthanasia?PS: Thanks for the upload Edited February 14, 2010 by ameatypie Reply
