Anyone get uni offers yet from UK, US, etc?

Since people are hesitant to post without other people posting theirs first, I may as well put my college list :D

SAT I: CR 690, M 670, W 710

SAT II: Maths II 760, Biology M 750

IB Predicted: 43/45

Applied to:

University of Pennsylvania

Cornell University

Johns Hopkins University

Duke University

Northwestern University

University of Chicago

Brandeis University

University of British Columbia

National University of Singapore

If anyone feels like chancing me, please do. :P

I know about Canada, there's the University of Alberta, its actually really good and not so pricy, they give priority to IB graduates too. Also,University of Calgary (im not sure of the proper name) is another really good university. It depends on what major you're planning on doing really. Different universities are known for different fields of study.

Alright... here goes. I've not applied to any out-of-country universities due to my laziness, but I did apply to quite a few Canadian universities.

I've applied to:

What about all of you guys? :)

EDIT: Post has been edited because I feel awfully exposed being the only one to post my unis... haha. So yeah, I'll edit again with the unis I've applied to and been accepted to if other people also decide to start posting. :(

I posted mine (if that makes any difference haha) :(

Ahh! Good luck.. those are pretty competitive colleges!

I applied to Cornell & Duke too. My Cornell app could have been a lot better.... oh well. Did you interview with any of unis you applied to? And which school did you apply to within Cornell? With Cornell, I know it's really big on you figuring out what you want to do, though I imagine it admits many students who don't know yet.

I can't really chance you because I have no clue what the international admissions are like [if you are applying as an intl student]. A lot harder, I assume.

I applied to the College of Arts and Sciences as an international financial aid candidate so my chances are actually pretty slim. :( But it can't hurt to hope haha :study:

To Ib_slave - don't be concerned at all over Canadian universities. You've got a lock on EVERY institution in Canada and each one of them will be throwing money at your feet. Your predicted results are amazing. :D Good luck on the U.S. ones, even though you probably don't need luck! :)

Thanks! I'm actually a Canadian citizen as well so I'm hoping that'll help me out scholarship-wise :P

You guys seem to have picked some seriously competitive unis =] I wish you all the best of luck. I applied to the UK and the US. Got offers from all my UK universities:

St Andrews - English + French with year abroad

Warwick - English Literature and Creative Writing [+online interview]

UCL - English

Durham - English Literature

Exeter - English

US: UPenn, Stanford, Yale, Grinnell, Claremont McKenna, Carleton, Amherst. Thinking of applying to UNC-Asheville (the international student deadline is a bit later).

SAT I: M 690; CR 760; W 770.

SAT II: French 800; English Literature 780.

IB predicted: 38/42.

Ib_slave, I feel you. I applied as an international financial aid candidate, too. I'm kind of dreading the day I get my answers.
