hanz Posted February 17, 2010 Report Share Posted February 17, 2010 I previously dd an experiment about investigating food, it was measuring the current in lemons, grape fruits, tomatoes and other fruits. howecver HATED it! also my IA really sucked. Or you can do one on fruit ripening, possibly? I know bananas are meant to give off some kind of hormone causing ripening (so, if I remember correctly, you can speed up the ripening of a fruit by leaving it in with a banana).We did fruit experiments for our group 4 project. There's tonnes of random things out there if you just google it. Hormones and enzymes are probably going to be the easiest things in terms of investigating it.
