Mel
I have to do a chemistry IA about RFLs, but I'm not in bio and I have no idea what they are. They're not listed in the biology textbook index and when I try to google it, all I get is "Robot Fighting League". I tried googling it with words like "science" and "biology", to no avail. Can someone just tell me what it stands for at least so I can more adequately find information about it? Thanks so much Reply
sweetnsimple786
I google'd it and found http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/RFLOne of the acronyms is for Resorcinol-Formaldehyde-Latex (chemical system used to bond polyester or nylon to rubber), apparently. I've never heard of it before. Was there any indication that RFL is related to biology? Reply
Sandwich
http://www.thefreelibrary.com/The+mechanical+properties+of+RFL+adhesives+and+influence+on...-a015802319Quite a lot more info. on that page. TBH sounds like an unnecessarily complicated lab to me! Also, why did you try looking for stuff on your Chem coursework in a Biology book? No criticism, it just seems kinda random Reply
