dexter
I have my Arabic B HL Oral in a week, and I was wondering, for the first 5 minutes when you talk about your topic, the criteria say do not be over rehearsed. How can I show that I am not over rehearsed when in reality I memorized the whole thing? Plus, is it ok to memorize the first 5 minutes? Arabic is my second language the only way to get a 27+ is to do so. Reply
Peachez
Well, you know the difference between a person who memorized the poem word for word and one who memorize it and when telling it feels and reveals the passion of the poem? What I am saying is, try to joke around with it, don't sound so serious. In this case it might be best if you didn't memorize the whole 'speech' word for word, but rather know well what you will say, have an outline and go form there. When a person speaks normally, they mess up and correct themselves, they laugh at funny to them moments. Just make it sound natural. But memorizing your speech word for word is not a good idea. Your best bet would be making an outline. Reply
