What is the hardest topic in the entire Maths HL?

I agree. Statistics starts off very simple but once you get into the probability section, it can get a bit difficult to wrap your head around. And particular questions under Vectors as well. But I get the sense I only found these two difficult because we took them on towards the end of IB which is why I got much less time to practice these two topics compared to the others.

The core calculus is piece of cake... but calculus from the options is the hardest for me.

 

Choosing which test to use to check convergences, etc, etc.

L'Hopital's rule is the easiest thing on that chapter.

Yes! the calculus option is insane, I found series, Taylor and Maclaurin series to be the hardest, not so much the concept but the questions in the book:O
